My weekdays are stuffed full of work. There’s no such thing as dinner plans, gym memberships, or catching your favorite tv show. The second I checked out on Fridays, I found myself escaping the city. Without realizing it, I had inherited my father’s sense of curiosity that took up all those summers of my childhood.
I spend my weekends in the car, with a boy and a dog named Riley, often meandering north. As I am my father’s daughter, I want to share my escapes.
